Galaxy of Tar is a New York-based band formed by Samuel Fernandez (on the bass), Nemanja Rebic (playing the guitar) and Naima Mora (bringing not only her America's Next Top Model looks, but also her vocals) and Elias Diaz (the frontman behind the drums), both members of their previous band Chewing Pics and co-founders of this new promising band. Pneuma is their first EP and they’ve been touring the USA with a couple of concerts.

A Mental Walkthrough: At first there’s no sound, you're lost in the void. Then, as you get closer to a shelter, the sound starts slowly crawling. You start hearing familiar sounds and she has come your way. By the end of the first song she has vanished in haste and all you’ll do now is try to gasp for some air, you’re now vulnerable and an amazing guitar powered by a echoing voice make you spin. For moments you’ll feel like you were sucked again into the void, but a guitar joins forces with the bass before the silence stepped inside, and as you’re rupturing through the Galaxy (of Tar) you’re caught in a Mephistopheles Claw. You feel fragile and as you set yourself free, you’ll see that all had disappeared, it was all a dream, or as Naima says, 'was all in your memory and memories are nothing but dreams'.
This six-song EP has more to it than the vocals; the instrumental behind Naima are astonishing, making it something of worth for the amazing guitars, bass and drums behind this front-lady.
